TheBestYacht.com is a new place focussed on anything splendid about what products, services and information are available for a yacht and which of these are considered the best and of course regrettably there are so, so many resources for this subject field that we presently chock-a-block with information, pictures and articles for this site. So we normally find it difficult to recognise which to use and which to take out.
The pages have been written here early whilst we prepare the web content to grant time for the search engines like Google, MSN and Yahoo to find out that we are here. They certainly do appear to take their time if you are sitting there waiting for them. Even so the prelaunch mode also opportunely lets us time to get on with assembling the web pages into the site while we are waiting. Meaning basically it is still being development and could be of limited use to you at the moment.
To help make the domain useful for now we have done a few searches & discovered an RSS news feed, set up a listing of the usual searches made related with yachts and pulled together up a couple links in this particular subject.
Regarding how this gets used will also help us to realize which things users of the web site are concerned about while they search anything to do with yachts and indicate to us what you would sooner see here. We would like to then prioritise our building of the domain to correspond to those requirements.
It is also our design to create a valuable source of information that is interesting and maintained and we have aspirations and plans to make this a special point on the web to facilitate those in finding what they need about "sailing canoe design" and yachts.
One interesting goal for the site on the internet that will certainly help raise discussion and chat about everything splendid about "sailing canoe design" will be the installation of a set of bulletin board forums.
Another goal is to be able to make a point that pages about "sailing canoe design" on the internet website does not go outdated so we chose a shared model for managing the information and content. An area to share information and documents will be created depending on a wiki which is the easiest way to cooperate on a document with numbers of browsers over time. It could also be a neat application for gathering the essence of what is talked over in the forums so that it can be seen promptly and easily by browsers of the site. It will all become clear soon…
